An individual who uses crystal meth by smoking or injecting the drug will experience an intense euphoric sensation that is usually followed by a high that can last for 12 hours or more.

In 2008, during their most recent treatment in the past year, 2.7 million persons aged 12 or older reported receiving treatment for alcohol use, and 947,000 persons reported receiving treatment for marijuana use.
