Do you have a problem with drug or alcohol addiction and live in Limon, Colorado? Are you concerned about a family member in Limon, who has a problem like this? Whatever your situation it's easy to believe that you're alone with this . . . that, somehow, you have to solve the problem all on your own. That is not the case. We care about you - and will help you find an Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehabilitation Facility in Limon, suited to your specific treatment needs. You don't have to deal with drug addiction or alcoholism on your own!
An Alcohol Rehabilitation or Drug Rehab Program in Limon, is a good option for the treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism. The goal of a Drug Rehab or Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility in Limon, CO. is to direct the initial treatment plan toward the ability of the individual to stop using drugs and/or alcohol and hence avoid the psychological, legal, financial, social, and physical consequences that are usually associated with drug addiction and alcoholism.
There are many different addiction treatment approaches such as Long-term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs, Outpatient Drug Rehabilitation Programs, Short-term Drug Rehabilitation Programs, Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities, support group meetings, drug counseling, halfway houses and sober living.
Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehabilitation Centers in Limon, typically focus on the two-fold nature of drug addiction and alcoholism: physical and psychological addiction. Physical addiction can be treated by a detoxification program in Limon, Colorado with treatment procedure to assist with the painful withdrawal symptoms which manifest themselves when a person discontinues the consumption of a drug or drugs that they are addicted to. With habitual use of a psychoactive substance the brain gradually adapts to the presence of the drug so the desired effect becomes minimal. This is how physical tolerance develops to drugs such as heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, nicotine and alcohol to name a few. It also explains why more and more of the drug is needed to get the same effect with habitual use of an addictive drug. The abrupt cessation of an addictive drug can lead to serious withdrawal symptoms where the body may take weeks or months (depending on the drug involved) to return to normal function. The withdrawal symptoms from certain substances, such as heroin, can induce severe and painful withdrawal symptoms, and be quite prolonged.
A Drug Rehab or Alcohol Treatment Facility in Limon, will not only provide the person with a professional detox but also provide an Alcohol Treatment or Drug Rehabilitation Facility for the psychological issues inevitably underlying all drug and alcohol addiction problems, so as to decrease the chances of relapse and increase the chances of a clean and sober life.
A Drug Rehabilitation or Alcohol Treatment Center in Limon, CO. is more likely to be one of the most successful methods for treating an individual with a severe drug addiction problem. Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehabilitation Facilities in Limon, are designed to deliver a comprehensive treatment curriculum and assist a person in every facet of their life 24 hours a day.
For a person to make a successful recovery, they must acquire new knowledge, abilities and 'life skills'. This new knowledge, abilities and life skills must be directed toward strategies for returning home to Limon, from an Alcohol Rehabilitation or Drug Rehab Center and encountering old drug using acquaintances in Limon - as well as ways to handle the many reminders and triggers of their past drug using days in Limon. These triggers can produce memories which can produce psychological stressors. These psychological stressors often hinder the recovering addict, making it very difficult for them to feel as though they have control over their actions concerning drug using impulses. This is because research into the brain of addicts shows changes in the way their brain functions long after they have discontinued using drugs and/or alcohol. This is the main reason why even an individual with will power as strong as steel may find it extremely difficult to overcome drug addiction or alcoholism without professional addiction treatment. With so many obstacles such as triggers, drug cravings, and changes in the way their brain functions due to habitual drug use, it is no surprise why so many people attend an Alcohol Rehab or Drug Treatment Program each year to successfully recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
There are many reasons why a person should enroll into a Drug Rehab or Alcohol Treatment Program in Limon. A few of the many reasons are: the inability to control or eliminate their drinking or drug use, alienating their friends and family, legal problems, severe depression and general unhappiness due to excessive drug or alcohol use.

Did You Know? ... Interesting Facts and Statistics:
Cocaine withdrawal usually does not have visible physical symptoms like vomiting, chills and tremors that occur with the withdrawal of other drugs.
In 2004, 19.1 million Americans, or 7.9 percent of the population aged 12 or older, were current illegal drug users. Current drug use means use of an illegal drug during the month prior to the survey interview.
The rate of current illegal drug use in the combined 2007 2008 data was lower for pregnant women than for nonpregnant women among those aged 18 to 25 (7.1 vs. 16.2 percent, respectively) and among those aged 26 to 44 (3.0 vs. 6.7 percent). Among women aged 15 to 17, however, those who were pregnant had a higher rate of use than those who were not pregnant (21.6 vs. 12.9 percent).
In 2005, among persons who received their last or current substance use treatment at a specialty facility in the past year, 45.3 percent reported using their "own savings or earnings" as a source of payment for their most recent specialty treatment. In addition, 31.9 percent reported using private health insurance, 27.9 percent reported using public assistance other than Medicaid, 24.3 percent reported using Medicaid, 23.4 percent reported relying on family members, and 20.8 percent reported using Medicare. (Note that persons could report more than one source of payment.)
In 2008, 9.3 percent of teens aged 12 to 17 were current illegal drug users: 6.7 percent used marijuana, 2.9 percent engaged in nonmedical use of prescription-type psychotherapeutics, 1.1 percent used inhalants, 1.0 percent used hallucinogens, and 0.4 percent used cocaine.
