Past 30 day illegal drug use in 2008 was higher among adults aged 18 or older with SPD (19.6 percent) than among adults without SPD (7.3 percent). Past 30 day use of illegal drugs other than marijuana in 2008 was higher among adults with SPD (12.3 percent) than among adults without SPD (2.9 percent).
The percentage of teens who reported that illegal drugs would be easy to obtain was associated with age, with perceived availability increasing with age.
