Once a drug or alcohol addiction has developed, many individuals find themselves unable to cease using the drug of choice without enrollment into a residential addiction recovery program to receive the treatment that they both need and deserve.
Among adults aged 50 to 59, the rate of current illegal drug use increased from 2.7 to 4.6 percent between 2002 and 2008.
