Did You Know? ...
Interesting Facts and Statistics:

Among students surveyed as part of the 2008 Monitoring the Future study, 1.4% of eighth graders, 1.2% of tenth graders, and 1.3% of twelfth graders reported lifetime use of heroin

There are several important factors that are required of a person while they are in a drug rehab program. The first and most important is that they remain drug and alcohol free while in treatment.

According to research studies, one of the facts that many substance users fail to understand is that continuous and repeated drug abuse often escalates into drug addiction. Another ironic aspect concerning drug abuse is the fact that those who abuse drugs the most are frequently the most clueless about the negative consequences of their out of control drug-related behavior.

Among 12 to 17 year olds who had past year MDE in 2008, 37.4 percent had used illegal drugs during the same period, which was higher than the rate of 17.2 percent among teens who did not have past year MDE. This pattern was similar for most specific types of illegal drug use, including the use of marijuana, cocaine, hallucinogens, or inhalants and the nonmedical use of prescription-type psychotherapeutics.

In 2008, women aged 18 or older who had MDE in the past year were more likely than their male counterparts to have received treatment for depression in the past year (74.2 vs. 65.0 percent).

The chemical structure and mechanism of Ketamine are very similar to those of PCP, and its effects are similar, but this dissociative drug is much less potent than PCP and the effects of this drug are of a much shorter duration.
