Methadone does not give as strong of a buzz as heroin. It offers individuals the chance to tackle their psychological addiction and stabilize their lifestyle when it is being used as a substitute for heroin. Unfortunately, methadone treatment is often known to last for a long period of time; in some instances, for many years.

Meth manufacture creates toxic fumes and hazardous waste by-products that can poison water, pollute lakes, permeate walls and flooring and cause fires and explosions.
