The prevalence of SPD among women aged 18 or older (14.0 percent) was higher than that among men in that age group (8.4 percent).
Among pregnant women aged 15 to 44 years, 5.1 percent used illegal drugs in the past month based on data averaged for 2007 and 2008. This rate was significantly lower than the rate among women in this age group who were not pregnant (9.8 percent).
