Among teens aged 12 to 17, the rate was 2.1 percent, and among young adults aged 18 to 25, the rate was 5.1 percent. In the Midwest, the prevalence of current cigar smoking increased from 5.6 percent in 2002 and 5.8 percent in 2003 to 6.9 percent in 2004, leveling off at 6.7 percent in 2005.
