In the 18 to 25 age group, the rate of past month use of these drugs was highest in Rhode Island (13.4 percent); among teens, the rate was highest in Arizona (7.2 percent) (Table B.6). Only Colorado and Kentucky were in the top fifth in all three age groups and for all persons aged 12 or older.
In 2006, past month marijuana use was reported by 2.5 percent of teens aged 12 to 17 who strongly or somewhat disapproved of their peers using marijuana once a month or more compared with 26.4 percent of teens who reported that they neither approve nor disapprove of such behavior from their peers.
