Current illegal drug use rates remained stable from 2005 to 2006 among teens aged 12 to 17. However, rates of current use declined significantly from 2002 to 2006 for any illegal drug and several specific drugs (including marijuana, hallucinogens, LSD, Ecstasy, prescription-type drugs used nonmedically, pain relievers, tranquilizers, and the use of illegal drugs other than marijuana).
