The rate of current heroin use also increased among boys (from 0.1 to 0.2 percent). There were no significant changes from 2005 to 2006 in the rate of past month drug use among girls aged 12 or older.

In 2006, 31.7 percent of teens aged 12 to 17 reported that they had attended religious services 25 or more times in the past year; 77.0 percent expressed agreement with the statement that religious beliefs are a very important part of their lives; 68.3 percent agreed with the statement that religious beliefs influence how they make decisions in life; and 35.1 percent agreed with the statement that it is important for their friends to share their religious beliefs.
