As was the case from 2002 through 2005, the rate of substance dependence or abuse for boys aged 12 or older in 2006 was about twice as high as the rate for girls (12.3 vs. 6.3 percent). Among teens aged 12 to 17, however, the rate of substance dependence or abuse among boys was similar to the rate among girls (8.0 vs. 8.1 percent).
At this point in the cocaine production process the drug is technically freebase cocaine, very similar to crack. In fact, when a person freebases cocaine, or makes crack, they are reversing what is done in the next process.
Ecstasy is a relatively simple chemical belonging to the amphetamine family of compounds, which has properties of both stimulants and hallucinogens.
An individual was arrested in Maine in 2000 and charged with selling approximately $8,000 worth of OxyContin weekly.
