In 2008, 87.9 percent of teens aged 12 to 17 reported that in the past year their parents made them always or sometimes do chores around the house, 86.1 percent reported that their parents always or sometimes let them know that they had done a good job, and 85.4 percent reported that their parents let them know they were proud of something they had done.
